Please reply here if you would like a new statistic type added.
Both season stats and all time stats can be added:
Currently available:
Goals Champions League
Goals English Premier League
Goals Spanish La Liga
Goals French League 1
Goals German Bundesliga
Goals Italian Serie A
Goals International
Any sport is possible...

OK. But it's a pitty that we won't have "live" stats and we have to wait a season to see player performances.
I was planning to use stats by event to create a stats page displaying top performances for a week/month/etc
One suggestion to modify to the current structure is to separate the stats from the league; I mean, instead of using "Goals Champions League", split the info in two different fields: "Goals" in one side and "Champions League" in other side. This will allow us to have a short list of stats when adding them and also it will save you to add request as you can set global stats by sport and then just include on the league field all the leagues that currently have on the db for that sport
Here are the ones I would add for basketball players:
Games
Minutes Played
Points
Rebounds
Assists
Steals
Blocks
Turnovers

I think that, as a test, with these two sports can be enough; but if you want to add stats also for baseball, american football and ice hockey, just let me know and I'll list my proposals

I have made the changes you mentioned and added basketball stats.
Let me know if it satisfies what you want to do with player statistics. I will look at the display part after we are happy with the data stored.

I started to play with them (see Pau Gasol - https://www.thesportsdb.com/player/34153772) and I have to requests, please:
- Remove "Team" from all name stats as it could confuse as the stats we are entering are player related, not team related
- Value field should be increased up to, at least 4000. On a single season "Minutes Played" can reach more than 3000 (in both sports) and "Points" also can reach this value
Some examples: Michael Jordan scored 3.041 point on 1986-87 season and played 3.311 minutes on 1987-88 season

Tried to remove 2018-2019 San Antonio Spurs Appearances and it didn't work (maybe due to the field name change?). If so, could you be kind enough to rename it, please, in order to avoid re-enter all the data?
Also I have a request in order to speed up the process of uploading stats, is it possible to add multiple stats (for the same season) at once or, at least, keep recurrent values such season, team and league for the next entry similar as we have for event creation, please?

As this is a big long term job I will personally concentrate on "Total" career stats for some footballers. But feel free to add any data you want, the more we have the more beautiful we can make the stats look as above!

Delete bug is fixed.
2nd request isn't really possible sorry, One tip is to use the back browser button to keep the info in the stats form and just change the type and number.

Sorry Zag, but could they be increased up to 5000, please? While entering stats, Kobe Bryant played 4.055 minutes in 2007-08 season and Shaquille O'Neal 4.163 minutes in 1999-00 season.

great, thanks! Now there's a little bug that while jumping through the fields by using the tab on the keyboard. If you tab from "League" field", jumps into the "Submit" botton instead of the "Value" field

Thinking on goalkeepers stats, I think that it should be better to remove "Saves" and add the next ones:
- Goals conceded
