Hi there,

I'm new to the SportsDB and I would like to congratulate everybody for this amazing work.

I have a quick question though if one of you guys may help me : I'm looking to collect TV channels for a specific country. Is there an API endpoint that does so ? I found several endpoints that provides TV channels but not this one. If not, is there an endpoint that lists all TV channels so I can filter them out by country ?

What I'm trying to achieve here is to collect the next soccer games for a specific league with their respective TV channels in a specified country.

Thank you for your answer and your help.
Keep up the fantastic work.

Hi, you can do this :

Events on a specific day *Patreon ONLY*:
https://www.thesportsdb.com/api/v1/json/1/eventsday.php?d=2021-10-29&l=4334
(returns all the matches of the French league 1 of tomorrow)

TV Events on a day (By Sport/Date/TV Station Country)*Patreon ONLY*:
https://www.thesportsdb.com/api/v1/json/1/eventstv.php?d=2021-10-29&a=France&s=Soccer
(returns all Football type events broadcast in France)

Thank you very much for your reply.

I understand from your response that there is no endpoint that provides TV channels per territory but instead you have to query a specific day or event to collect the information.

I was asking this because you get a channel ID ('idChannel') in responses that would suggest that SportsDB has a table that lists all TV channels.

That's fine though, I'm aggregating API calls to structure what I need !

Have a nice day !
Best,
Y*

I'll take a look at this feature request soon, I have added to the roadmap.

I just had a look at this and its a bit harder than it looks. Both USA and UK have 1,000+ channels so its not very efficient.

I'm not sure the best way to do this really...

Most of them has no info for sport fixtures entered so maybe a combination of channel + fixtures counter can do the trick
