Wrong matchdays for Womens Championsleague

Hey,
in the Womens Champions League, there is a mismatch between the data which can be seen and edited here on the website frontend and the data which can be retrieved via the following endpoint:

https://www.thesportsdb.com/api/v1/json/{API-Key}/eventsseason.php?id=4889&s=2023-2024

Here is one example:

Data from the endpoint:
idEvent "1896243"
strEvent "Anderlecht Women vs Brann Women"
strEventAlternate "Brann Women @ Anderlecht Women"
strFilename "UEFA Womens Champions Le…ht Women vs Brann Women"
strSport "Soccer"
idLeague "4889"
strLeague "UEFA Womens Champions League"
strSeason "2023-2024"
strDescriptionEN ""
strHomeTeam "Anderlecht Women"
strAwayTeam "Brann Women"
intHomeScore "0"
intRound "1"

Here on the website it says for this match it is round = 0, which is correct. Why is the data in the endpoint not updated/synchronized?

This match is just an example. There are also some others where the round should be 0 but is 1 in the endpoint.

Thanks for fixing this!

Its just somebody's interpretation of what a round is.

It could be argued that that is round 1, but this site considers matchday 1 of a group stage to be round 1.

The rogue round 1s have been changed to 0. https://www.thesportsdb.com/season/4889-UEFA-Womens-Champions-League/2023-2024&r=01

Thank you!

In general I don't like the use of round 0.

For me group stage is the beginning of the competition so it should be matchday 1. Everything before is the qualification, so in my opinion it should be round 400 (which is sometimes used for qualification if I remember correctly).

This is an issue that really needs to be improved and needs to be standardized for the entire database or based on fixed rules that you can trust. In this example now, some matchdays from the Qualification stage were also marked as round 1 what would make it impossible to differentiate matches between group stage and qualifcation stage (or how could I see then a difference?).

Yes I agree, Round 0 is the default in which the data comes through. I'll update all previous rounds to 400/Qualifying.

Its hard for me alone to standardise as I can only edit the DB at the front end like any user, and that takes time even with automation scripts.

Yes, I understand that and thank you very much for your work! But in the long term we should automate this so that such topics can be viewed consistently across the entire database and so that users can have a certain amount of confidence in them.

Totally agree, but only one person can implement such things around here.

I've updated all the earlier rounds to 400/Qualifying.

Yeh all depends on our source data really. Its hard to keep everything standard but we can try.
