Hi,

I am new to the database and want to work in Python. It is starting well, but I have a question.

I am not sure why the list of leagues are in settings.py. Why are they there hard-coded when I would simply expect them to be fetched from the database online. Is it used?

Thanks for your time and effort!

This website is solely a API/database and does not provide any Python files to download.

So I'm not sure what settings.py file you're talking about.

Thanks for your reply. That's from the Github project here: https://github.com/TralahM/thesportsdb

I see, you're best asking the dev on github if you have any specific questions about that wrapper. It doesn't look like its been maintained in 3 years though.

Any general questions we can try and help with here if you have some.
