Yes it should work the same as the site search

partial strings don't work for events on the site search. is it possible to improve it?

yes good idea, I have changed the search to full text now. Let me know if it works better.

| | Search for players and teams on the frontend website has been improved but I'm still not sure, please do have a test and let me know any weird results.
If it works I will add it to V2 of the API.

| | Hi! I notice that search with a partial string works quite well in the frontend. For example, searches like "dodgers" and "steelers" return results. However, the v1 and v2 versions of the api do not return anything for the same queries. Is there any way we could get access to the same search that the frontend of the site uses? Thank you so much!
