The scrumhalf's quick delivery has served him well and he made a big impact early on in his England career. He is the youngest player to represent the Tigers in the Premiership and is the son of former England international Nick Youngs. His fast accurate pass and eye for the gap are some of his best assets and make him for than a handful in an England jersey.

Youngs is excellent at forcing the pace of the game and his speed means he is one of the best breaking 9s in world rugby. Having been selected to tour Australia with the Lions in 2013, Youngs started the first two tests, scoring twice; against the Reds & Rebels.

Was in matchday squad for 17 successive RBS 6 Nations games from debut until missing out in 2014. Played in all games in 2015 and 2016 scoring three tries.

Ben celebrated his 60th cap in the 2nd Test victory over Australia in Melbourne last June when bolstering his pack with an aggressive, all-action attitude around the fringes and excellent box kicking.

He was also a central figure in England’s high tempo game that secured the Wallaby whitewash at Sydney. Ben also produced a sumptuous performance in the 37-21 victory over South Africa in the Old Mutual Wealth Series at Twickenham in November.

In April 2017, Youngs was selected on his second British and Irish Lions tour but had to withdraw due to family reasons.

Youngs took his Test cap tally to 73 scoring 12 tries for before being named in England's 2018 6 Nations squad.

In January Youngs signed a new deal with Leicester Tigers having made over 200 appearances over the last decade that he has been at the club.
