Originally a hooker but also able to play at prop, Greg Bateman made Leicester Tigers history by playing in all three front-row positions during the 2016/17 season, his second year with the club.
His move to Tigers was announced towards the end of 2014/15, shortly after he had scored the winning try for Exeter Chiefs against Tigers in the Anglo-Welsh Cup semi-final at Welford Road.
Capped by England Under-18 in his time with Harlequins, Bateman played senior rugby with Dorking and then London Welsh before joining the Chiefs in 2013.
He scored his first try for Tigers in a European Cup win over Treviso in Italy during 2015/16.
