American Rookie Deandre Burnett has joined the Leicester Riders from Ole Miss University for his first season of professional basketball.
Originally Burnett started his college career at the University of Miami where he averaged 7 points, 2 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. The following season Burnett transferred to Ole Miss where he went on to averaged 13.6 points per game alongside 4 assists and 2 rebound per game.
Burnett is known as an explosive guard being able to score from both the outside and slashing to the basket. He demonstrated this in his Riders debut where he scored 24 points off the bench against Bakken Bears in the Basketball Champions League Qualifier.
