Marwin Javier González (born March 14, 1989) is a Venezuelan professional baseball utility player who is a free agent.
He previously played for the Houston Astros and Minnesota Twins.Primarily a shortstop, González has appeared at every position except for pitcher and catcher for the Astros. He won the 2017 World Series with the team over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
On February 25, 2019, González signed a two-year contract worth $21 million with the Minnesota Twins.
González made his MLB debut April 6, 2012, for the Houston Astros.
