Matthew Michael Duffy (born January 15, 1991) is an American professional baseball third baseman who is with the Texas Rangers.
He played college baseball at Long Beach State and was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2012. He bats and throws right-handed.
Duffy was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 18th round (568th overall) of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft, and signed with the Giants two days later. He began his professional baseball career in 2012 playing for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes of the Class A-Short Season Northwest League.
Duffy made his MLB debut August 1, 2014, for the San Francisco Giants.
On January 30, 2020, Duffy signed a minor league deal with the Texas Rangers.
