Michael Shenton (born 22 July 1986) also known by the nickname of "Shenny", is a former English professional rugby league footballer who played as a centre and was the captain of the Castleford Tigers (Heritage № 810) in the Super League.
An England international representative centre, he previously played for the Castleford Tigers before moving to St Helens in 2010. On 7 June 2012, Shenton re-joined the Castleford Tigers for the start of the 2013 season with still a year left at St. Helens. Shenton agreed a new four-year deal with his home town club. On 4 December 2012 he was unveiled as the new captain for the 2013 Super League season.
