Brendan Connolly (born September 5, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing for Sheffield Steelers of the UK's Elite Ice Hockey League.

Playing career
Connolly played 4 years in the AJHL for the Canmore Eagles and the Brooks Bandits. For the 2008-09 season he joined the men's ice hockey team at Ferris State University where he played in NCAA Division 1 competition in the CCHA.

Upon completion of his fourth year at Ferris State Connolly signed with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL and played 2 seasons for them before moving on to the Greenville Road Warriors for the 2010-11 season. During 2010-11 Connolly saw his first AHL action being loaned to the Adirondack Phantoms who he played 3 games for.

At the conclusion of the 2010-11 season Connolly re-signed with the Road Warriors for 2011-12 during which he was loaned up to the AHL again, this time to the Texas Stars where he played 12 games.

Connolly re-signed in Greenville again at the end of the 2011-12 season and played the full 2012-13 season with the Road Warriors.

In September 2013 it was announced that Connolly had been traded to the Alaska Aces for the rights to Jean-Michel Rizk.

After two productive seasons with the Aces, Connolly opted to pursue a European career, signing a one-year contract with Hungarian club, Alba Volán Székesfehérvár, who compete in the Austrian Hockey League on June 25, 2015.

On 9 August 2017, Connolly signed for EIHL side Belfast Giants, reuniting with his former teammates Ryan Martinelli and Blair Riley in the process.
