Andrea Locatelli (born 16 October 1996 in Alzano Lombardo) is an Italian motorcycle racer. He was the 2013 CIV Moto3 Champion, and was also the winner of the 2012 Italian Honda NSF250R Trophy.


Italian rider Andrea Locatelli makes the step straight into the PATA Yamaha WorldSBK Official Team for 2021 after a historic and record-breaking campaign in WorldSSP. In his first season in WorldSBK, Locatelli claimed seven pole positions out of eight as well was 12 wins and 13 podiums out of a possible 15.
The stunning debut campaign meant he was instantly propelled into the factory Yamaha team where he faces the prospect of matching up to another young rider in Toprak Razgatlioglu. The reigning WorldSSP Champion is now in just his second season within the World Superbike paddock, but will he be straight onto the podium like he was in WorldSSP?
