David Finlay Jr. (born 31 January 1958) is a Northern Irish professional wrestling trainer, producer and retired professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE as a producer. He is perhaps best known for his work in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He has held over 20 championships around the world throughout his career, including the WCW World Television Championship and the WWE United States Championship.
Starting his career in his father's wrestling promotion at the age of 16 in 1974, Finlay went onto mainstream success in WCW until it folded in 2001. He went on to work as a trainer WWE upon the closing of WCW. In 2005 he debuted as a wrestler for WWE going on to having decent mid-card success for his age. After being let go from WWE he wrestled in the independent circuit for a short time, before retiring in 2012 and becoming a backstage producer for WWE.
