Surya Kumar Yadav (born 14 September 1990) is an Indian international cricketer who represents the Indian cricket team in ODI & T20I Formats. He currently serves as the Captain of the Indian National Cricket Team in T20I. Yadav has represented India in all three formats of the game. He plays for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League and serves as the vice-captain for both the team and Mumbai in Indian domestic cricket.

Early and personal life
Yadav was born and raised in Mumbai and started playing cricket under the coaching of his uncle Vinod Yadav. He learned the game while playing on the streets of Chembur. At the age of 10, his father saw his inclination towards the game and enrolled him in a cricket camp in the BARC colony in Anushakti Nagar. He then went to Elf Vengsarkar Academy, run by former international cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar, and played age-group cricket in Mumbai. He was educated at Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science.

In July 2017, Yadav married Devisha Suryakumar Yadav. The couple first met in 2010 at a college program. Shetty is a trained dancer and serves as a dance coach.
