Dr. Masson joined Performance Tech's IMSA Prototype Challenge Presented by Mazda lineup in 2017. In his rookie season of prototype racing, Dr. Masson earned seven podium finishes, topped with a win at Road Atlanta. His consistent success gave him a second-place finish in the MPC Masters Championship. In 2018, before the retirement of the class, he became the lone winner of the MPC class at Daytona International Speedway. In 2019, he made his debut in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Rolex 24At Daytona driving the No. 38 ORECA in the new LMP2 class. He returns in 2020 for his second Rolex 24 At Daytona eager to top his second place finish from last year.
