Sam Neary started racing at the age of 15 and in 2017 took part in his first competitive race in the Ginetta Junior Winter Series. At 16 he started racing for Team Abba Racing in the BMW M3 and in less than 12 weeks earned his International C racing licence.
In October 2018 Sam took part in the Creventic 12hr endurance race at Spa. Team Abba racing achieved a podium position to round off their 2018 season. Sam was one of three drivers in the team, taking part in his first endurance race.
In 2019 Sam is believed to have became the youngest ever pole sitter and winner in a GT3 car, taking his first victory in the Britcar Dunlop Endurance Championship race at Snetterton in Team Abba Racing AMG GT3 Mercedes.
Sam is currently studying at Loughborough college and is part of the Motorsport UK Academy AASE programme.
