Koichi Kidera (木寺 浩一, Kidera Koichi, born April 4, 1972) is a former Japanese football player.
Kidera was born in Hidaka on April 4, 1972. After graduating from high school, he joined Japan Soccer League club NKK in 1991. In 1992, Japan Soccer League was folded and the club joined new league Japan Football League (JFL). He became a regular goalkeeper in 1992. However he could hardly play in the match in 1993 and the club was disbanded end of 1993 season. In 1994, he moved to JFL club Kyoto Purple Sanga. Although he played in 2 seasons, he could not play many matches. In 1996, he moved to Regional Leagues club Honda Luminozo Sayama and played in 2 seasons. In 1998, he moved to JFL club Albirex Niigata. He played many matches and the club was promoted to new league J2 League from 1999. He battles with Shinya Yoshihara for the position and played many matches until 2000. However he could hardly play in the match behind Yosuke Nozawa from 2001. The club won the champions in 2003 and was promoted to J1 League from 2004. In 2004, he played many matches from summer instead Nozawa got hurt. Although he became a regular goalkeeper in late 2005, he was released from the club for generational change end of 2005 season. In 2006, he moved to J1 club Sanfrecce Hiroshima. However he could hardly play in the match behind Takashi Shimoda and the club was relegated to J2 from 2008. In 2008, he became a regular goalkeeper instead Shimoda got hurt. However he injured his shoulder in June and could not play at all in the match after the injury. In 2009, he moved to Regional Leagues club Zweigen Kanazawa. He played many matches and the club was promoted to Japan Football League from 2010. However he retired end of 2009 season.
