COLLEGE: During her 2016 freshman season at Duke, Gyau appeared in 23 games, playing at both midfield and defense. She became the fourth player and second Duke freshman to notch their first goal in an NCAA Tournament. During her 2017 sophomore season, Gyau earned ACC Honor Roll, and started in the first three games before suffering a season-ending ACL and MCL tear. During her 2018 junior season, Gyau appeared in three games before suffering another season ending injury. Gyau earned ACC Honor Roll for the second consecutive year. In her senior season she logged a career-high 100 minutes of action in the ACC opener versus NC State, notched her second career goal and first of the season in the matchup at Wake Forest. Unfortunately, Gyau suffered a season-ending injury in the match versus thirdranked North Carolina. In her fifth and final season with Duke, Gyau started every game and played over 1700 minutes.
INTERNATIONAL: Gyau trained with the U-14, U-15 and U-17 teams and was a member of the U-18 and U-20 National Teams. She traveled to Jamaica with the U-17 National Team for the CONCACAF World Cup qualifier, competed with the U-17 squad for the England Friendlies in 2013 and picked up three international caps with the U-17 National Team during the Four Nations tournament in San Jose, Costa Rica.
