Gastón Nicolás Martirena Torres (born 5 January 2000 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan footballer who plays as a midfielder. He plays as a right-back for Racing Club in the Argentine First Division.

He made his professional debut on March 24, 2021, coach Marcelo Méndez brought him on in the 84th minute for Jean Rosso, he wore the number 15 jersey and defeated Torque 4-1 at Belvedere.23The next game he started, in the last game of the season, he played the full 90 minutes against Boston River but lost 1-0 after a penalty goal by Rubén Bentancourt.4
He was signed by Racing Club for the second half of 2023, the team acquired 70% of his token in exchange for three million dollars.5
He made his debut for the Argentine club on August 3, in the first leg of the round of 16 of the 2023 Copa Libertadores, he entered at the beginning of the second half to face Atlético Nacional but they were defeated 4-2.6Later in the rematch they won 3-0 and qualified for the next stage of the international competition. In the quarterfinals they drew against Boca Juniors in both the first and second legs, went to penalties and were eliminated.7
On September 20 he started against Newell's Old Boys at El Cilindro de Avellaneda, Racing opened the scoring in the 71st minute but the Uruguayan Guillermo May tied it in the 93rd minute, in the last play of the match Martirena overflowed down the right and breached the rival goal, which sealed the victory of La Academia 2-1 in the 97th minute.8
He finished his first season at Racing with 13 games played, one goal and one assist.
