Now bound for a second Olympics at Paris 2024, Wilson has successfully adapted to a change of equipment from RS:X to iQFOiL.
She won bronze at the 2023 World Sailing Championships to earn Team GB an Olympic quota place having secured silver at the Olympic Test Event in Marseille.
Having spent her formative years learning the ins and outs of windsurfing alongside her mother Penny, who is herself a two-time Olympian, Wilson is now making waves of her own.
Rather than feel the pressure of replicating the success of her mother, Wilson says having such knowledge of the sport to call upon has been an important influence on her career so far.
She won her first world title aged just 12 when claiming gold at the U15 Techno 293 World Championship and hasn’t looked back since.
A hat-trick of Youth Worlds golds arrived in 2014, 2016 and 2017 and Wilson has since been a regular in the medal races at senior level. At the Tokyo Olympics she secured Team GB's first sailing podium of the Games.
