Up and coming Turkish star Bahattin Sofuoglu will make a small bit of history in 2025 as he becomes the second rider to compete in WorldSSP300, WorldSSP and WorldSBK. After two full seasons in WorldSSP300 and then three in WorldSSP, the nephew of five-time World Supersport Champion Kenan Sofuoglu is set to make his debut on the Yamaha R1 this year.
Sofuoglu is set for his WorldSBK debut as he links up with the Motoxracing Yamaha team for 2025 as part of an expanded two-rider line-up, racing alongside Tito Rabat.
