Before the start of the 2014 British Touring Car Championship season, Tony Gilham Racing merged with Team BMR to form Team BMR. Goff was confirmed as their first driver, racing under the RCIB Insurance Racing banner in a Vauxhall Insignia. Former champion Alain Menu returned to the series with the team, driving a Volkswagen alongside former Motorbase Performance driver Árón Smith.
Team BMR made BTCC History in race 3 at Silberstone in 2014, by becoming the first team to ever achieve a top ten finish for four cars in the same race.
