Conosciuta fino al 2015 come Asd Pallacanestro Femminile Schio, ha poi cambiato denominazione sociale, incorporando il nome dell'abbinamento Famila del presidente Marcello Cestaro[1].

È la squadra più titolata d'Italia. Detiene il record di Coppe Italia vinte (dodici) e quello di Supercoppe (dodici) ed è al terzo posto per numero di scudetti (dieci) dopo la Pool Comense e Vicenza.
