Honda UK has a strong history in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, securing four Superbike titles, making them one of the most successful teams in the paddock.
Ryuichi Kiyonari won the Louth-based team consecutive Championship titles in 2006 and 2007, before following them up in 2010 and with Alex Lowes in 2013. The team has also won three British Supersport and National Superstock crowns, including last year with Tom Neave.
As part of the ‘Honda Superbike Challenge Program’, Honda Racing UK signed Japanese contenders Ryo Mizuno and Takumi Takahashi alongside Glenn Irwin. The trio return in 2022 with the team’s Superstock champion Tom Neave promoted to the Superbike class in an ambitious four-strong line-up for the new season.
