Zamalek Basketball Club (Arabic: نادي الزمالك لكرة السلة), is one of Zamalek SC club's sections that represent the club in Egypt and in international Basketball competitions. Zamalek Basketball team was founded in 1937. Domestically in the Super League and internationally in the Bal. Zamalek Basketball team can be considered the Greatest team in Africa and the Middle East. Zamalek has been participating in the Egyptian Basketball League without interruption since 1972, Zamalek is the most titled club in the Egyptian Basketball Federation Competitions with 52 titles, and 18 Regions League.
The Zamalek Squads have Won a Record 18 Egyptian Basketball League, 15 titles Egyptian Super League, 2 titles Egyptian Kingdom Basketball League, 1 title Egyptian Republic League, including in 5-in-a-row. They have also Won a Record 13 Egypt Cup titles. a Record 1st Champion of Basketball Africa League & Record 1 FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup.
Zamalek is also the 1st Egyptian team to participate in a FIBA Intercontinental Cup, Most Egyptian and African team participating in EuroLeague, 1st African team that Won FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup And Basketball Africa League. Also, the team has participated in FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup since 1972 and achieved the title in 1992, Zamalek has participated in EuroLeague in 1970–71, 1974–75, 1975–76, 1978–79, 1979–80, 1980–81. and Withdraw at once in 1981–82. the team was qualified in 2022 FIBA Intercontinental Cup. the team has participated in Basketball Africa League since in 2021 and achieved the title 1 times, in 2021.
