The Estádio Nacional 12 de Julho, formerly known as Estádio Sarmento Rodrigues, is a multi-purpose stadium in São Tomé, the capital of São Tomé and Príncipe, inaugurated in 1950. It is the largest stadium in the country in terms of attendance capacity and is officially the home where the São Tomé National Football Team plays its friendly and official matches. In addition, Andorinha, Praia Cruz and Agrosport, clubs in the capital, also play their games for national and continental competitions at the stadium, which has a maximum capacity of 6,500 spectators.
