I couldn't find the original concept but did my best to make it look nice. One small bug is not being able to determine if an event is a European competition at the moment.

Yep still in beta so all subject to change.
I can show the team name automatically if thats what you mean? At the moment it only shows the team badge.

I mean that on the edit page you can select the team where the driver was in that moment. Currently the team is automatically assigned to the one that has the driver on his profile page, but when you will add events results for past seasons, maybe you he was on a different team that on the current one and the team displyed will be wrong

Ahh yes Ok I understand. Problem is that makes it much more complicated to enter the results. Its the same reason I might not add points as well.
I just want it to be quick as easy to do.
Secondary teams are quite difficult to design for. Maybe we should just use the workaround of moving the player into a primary team then setting the result? I can't imagine its too much of an issue other than a few drivers who drive for multiple teams.

@Zag is a composite key currently used in the database to store player and team records? I foresee a challenge at least on the american dirtbike leagues where riders are in both leagues racing for the same teams. Currently the system seems to recognise players if i try to create them again under a different league. When i try to hit create it just sends me to the existing record in the other league. I have seen this before in a system I worked on in the past where the name and D.O.B. were concatenated to make the primary key.
I reckon I can get around recreating teams as I can just name one copy with "MX" as a suffix and the other with "SX" as the suffix.
The player issue will grow as the site grows however as during the off-season American riders go to the French, Australian and New Zealand Supercross leagues to compete.

Its just the way the database was originally structured.

Moving the players from team to team is a slower process that adding the "team" field on the result list page

| | I have tested some events through moving drivers to a different teams and the result list is affected so, I think that team field should be added to the result list page to be entered by users or when new seasons start and some drivers change of team, current results will be affected displying wrong teams

I'm still looking at how to get this on the main page without slowing it down so much, the soccer display already causes a slowdown which I want to fix before adding new sport livescores to the main page.

- Also added a display players by position grouping option on the team player filters.
- Also added the ability to sort by squad number
I've added it but i'm not sure I like it yet. If you have any ideas on how better to display it let me know.
