Posts: 162 Joined: 2021-05-22 | A niche feature for the site that I think could be helpful from time to time is adding a sort by Country for the league pages. That way we could sort the teams in the league by country. I'm thinking of the way the players are sortable within a team page. I don't know if this is worth any effort, but throwing it out there. | ||

Mainly little things but trying to improve usability and speed - Big speed upgrade recently with some MySql tuning and data optimization - Limited events and players to make pages faster loading. Just click on the more players or more events link at the bottom to show all. - Main index page now only shows featured league events and TV schedules. - Improved both the Basketball, Soccer and Baseball importers in many ways. - Added loads of new teams, leagues and even sports - Added a rate limit to the API to improve performance site wide and stop a few users taking all the resources - Added player birthdays https://www.thesportsdb.com/player_birthday.php - Fixed bugs on forum - Normalized mini sport icons around the site to green ones. Loads of little fixes as well. Priorities going forward are: - Teams Trophies/Honors - Team transfer histories - League and Team historical badges Still taking feature requests as always  Ovokx | ||

Posts: 162 Joined: 2021-05-22 | @zag any chance of modifying the "Missing Scores" page to only include events that would not have started yet based on the UTC time? This would be nice for sports in the USA that are late at night being hidden in the "current" day's missing scores page. Another possibility would be displaying the UTC time next to the event if that makes it easier. Update: wrote some code from my side that uses the API to fetch the events for that day based on my timezone and filter to where the score's are missing. I can then fill in the missing scores in a spreadsheet and have code add it to the DB for me. So I have my own solution to this, but still feel like it could be a nice addition! zag | ||

I've added a new feature to 'rate an event' out of 10 on any event page. Hopefully we can get some nice charts going one day for the best events. zag Posts: 3,331 Joined: 2020-03-23 | Spent all day fixing the honours feature. - Upgraded image requirement to 512px quality - Added database object for honours so easier to add now - Added main honour page - Added image upload for logos and trophies - Updated team and player pages to use the new trophy images https://www.thesportsdb.com/honour_all.php Still no add honour for mods sorry, but I can always add manually or delete any dupes (I noticed a few). Examples are "Active", "Injured", "Retired" etc. - Player ethnicity added. * Status should auto update if you move a player into Retired or free agent team. No need to set both. ** Let me know any other ethnicity to add. I took them from census data for now. | ||

zag Posts: 3,331 Joined: 2020-03-23 | - Moderators can now "clone" events. The function is on the event page in the bottom left. Simply edit the new cloned event with a new date and season for quick copying. * Currently only works on named events, not team vs team events. | ||

Most date formats should work, but let me know. I would suggest starting with a small file  Also only available for team events for now. | ||
